Utilizing a “take what he needs when he needs it” approach, he’s studied a plethora of various acting techniques with a focus on deep psychological inner-work.  Working intensively under many of Vancouver foremost acting teachers including Matthew Harrison, Andrew Mcilroy, Trish Allen, Jeb Beach, David Allen Pearson, and Lori Triolo to name a few, Nathaniel is constantly learning and evolving in a search to understand the complex language of inspired acting.  

Nathaniel has also worked extensively on outer-methods of acting, such as voice, diction, and movement, and he’s built a repertoire of accents for roles in his type, from a wide range of American dialects, to dialects of the British Isles, Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Balkans.  He speaks conversational Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian from his travels and work abroad, as well as conversational French and Spanish.

His acting career began in 2003 with a casting on the feature film “Betraying Reason,” after which he took a hiatus of over a decade to focus on his Djing career, performing with some of the biggest names in hip-hop: Machine Gun Kelly, Future, Juicy J, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ghostface Killah, Warren G, Mickey Avalon. He also toured solo numerous times across Canada and Europe.  

Feeling strongly inspired to pursue acting and cinema, Nathaniel made numerous guest appearances as a Dj on various TV shows such as Lucifer, The Flash, Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce, Motive, Death Note, meanwhile taking acting classes and acting in short and independent films.

An avid skateboarder and snowboarder in his early days, he was featured skateboarding on various TV show as Travellers and Disney’s MTX. He also shot, produced and edited Vancouver Island’s quintessential skateboarding / snowboarding film, “This Was Your Life”
